Andrew Howard has played a key role in the Disque Foundation’s work for over ten years, using his talents in graphic design and data analysis to support our mission. With over 30 years of experience in visual storytelling, Andrew first began working with Adobe Photoshop in 1994. His design expertise even shaped the identity of the Foundation itself—he is the creator of the Disque Foundation logo.
Beyond design, Andrew has expanded his skills into analytics, combining creativity with data-driven insights to bring clarity and understanding. His ability to interpret complex information has been instrumental in advancing the Foundation’s initiatives. Guided by his belief that knowledge should empower others, he strives to make sense of complex problems and share insights that help people see the bigger picture. Andrew also serves as the Foundation’s unofficial historian, carrying a deep understanding of past initiatives, lessons learned, and the evolution of projects over time. His ability to recall what has been tried before—and why—provides valuable insight, helping the team make informed decisions and build on past experiences.
Andrew has accompanied the Disque Foundation on mission trips to Kenya, Ecuador, Appalachia, and New Orleans—experiences that deepened his commitment to the Foundation’s work. A critical thinker by nature, he values curiosity, objectivity, and challenging assumptions. Inspired by a passage from Walt Whitman’s Song of Myself, he believes in questioning everything, considering all perspectives, and carving his own path while remaining open to new ideas.
Outside of work, Andrew and his wife, Lori, are proud parents of twin sons and twin toy poodles. A lifelong IndyCar racing enthusiast, he has attended every Indianapolis 500 since 1991. He also enjoys exploring the art of cooking, always eager to learn something new.
The Disque Foundation is deeply grateful for Andrew’s decade of dedication, creativity, and insight. His contributions have left a lasting impact, and we are honored to have him continue supporting our mission in an advisory role.
